Progeria, Ignorance

Sis rehearsed her presentation with me as her only audience.
The topic is about Progeria,
A type of rare genetic disorder that the symptoms of aging occurs in an early age.
Occurs in one per 8 million children.
According to sis, most of them can't live over 21.
Like when Benjamin Button was young,
their physical will look like old people.
Bald, no eye brows and have wrinkle skin.
This is really sad as there aren't any treatment for this disorder yet.
If someday you come across children with this kind of symptoms,
please, please, please do not look down towards them.
They are normal kids with some special features only.
They are special beings who deserves more love and care from all of us.

Nowadays, I'm quite sensitive towards sociological issues.
Dunno why.
Someone brought out the serious problem in the society nowadays
which I had been wanting to shout out a long time ago.
It's about the ignorance of human beings.
Many people now are really self-centered and they do not care about what is actually happening around the world.
Had been doing an assignment about materialistic people,
it's just another fact to tell how arrogant human really are.
Nature disasters, poverty, sufferings, hunger victims....
So many issues that need our attention,
but only few respond to them....
Not mentioning this issue,
human ignorance can even been seen through a simple school event,
people only clap and cheer for the popular people,
ignoring those others who too deserves to be cheered for.
And sad case in this cruel world,
when can this be put to an end???

p.s. Fulfilled the 1st day of Daily earth hour, waiting to do it again.

Earth hour '10

Went back again this week...
It's really really nice getting to spend time at home with mum.
Thought the only thing we did was watching TV,
Still, it's the most relaxing moment of the week.
Went for K session with Soon and YC.
Boy, are they good singers..
YC, you senyap-senyap tak mau cakap ah, sekali nyanyi menjadi harimau ah..
haha....
Had had a really really great time!
Oh ya, that day must be our lucky day,
Bump into the number 8, twice! hehe..
Too bad we did buy toto la, maybe really can fatt ah!
muahahahhaahaha.... joking ni...
Went 'visit' the vineyard in S'ban the same day.
It's really amusing seeing the whole hill covered with vines..
Who says Grapes cannot be local?? haha...
It's located in Nustari something...
A place near PD.
You can't actually go into the vineyard as it's a private property.
Can only see it from far.

Earth hour was on the same day...
Was really enthusiastic in joining the whole world to observe that moment..
I even asked many many others to join in...
Too bad I was out that hour,
Didnt get to join the whole world and live in darkness for an hour.. T.T
This year is really disappointing though,
not many people observed the program.
Was in town during that particular hour,
Damn disappointing...
But still found some comfort when KFC, The store and the whole road of the shops near Ruby was in darkness...
+ the street lamps were all off that moment... ^^

Got to persuade my parents to off the lights in the house for 2++ hours.. ^^
But too bad my dear's not here... If not we'll have more fun.

Really hope that we can have our own earth hour everyday.
Just try to finish all your work earlier and pick a suitable hour to turn off all your lights...
A simple act by turning off the lights will make a BIG difference..

Was off early today, dunno why the lecturer so good,
for 2 hours lecture, he let us go early for about an hour.
We were like... REALLY?????

haha... He really did let us go very early...

1st weekend

Didn't go back to S'ban this week. Assignment awaits.
My 1st weekend in Kampar, all I can say is... BORING!!!!
Haha, seriously, I had not been so bored in my life as I was for the past 2 days.
Actually it won't be SO boring if I get to watch shows and stuffs la.
But sis gotta do her report and study for exam, Oh well...
Had to finish my stupid Econs assignment this weekend.
Friday I was like, damn bored. No com, nothing.... lying there with nothing to do.
On Sat, Econs the whole day. Gotta search to tons of sites to get info,
Eyes popping out dy still cannot find the stupid GPDs and whatsoever that I need.
Still, I managed to simply 'produce' something out lo.. hehe...
It's really a tiring work.
Sat from 10 am till 11pm in front of the com, searching for infos....
Damn tired wei!
Did not even step out of the house for the whole day...lolz.. This is my 1st too!
okok... glad that THAT was over...
Still got another 3 more to go.. GAMBATEH!
hehe, finally, it's today!
after 2 dreadful days in the stuffy room, I finally got the chance to do something fun!
Dad and mum came visit us this week, so happy wei. ^^
They came here this morning and brought FOOD to the S room! hehe...

We went to Ipoh for lunch. The 'sa hor fun' really nice. Yummy!

Then we went Ipoh parade for shopping. ^^
It was fun! REally!
There were many 'leng zais and luis' around.
Sis says the people there really know how to dress up.
Quite true, but 1 thing is, everyone there are in shorts.
I mean all the gals la... haha.. same pattern geh.
Oh well, the norm there, what can I say?
Today's the fun. Glad that mum and dad came here. ^^

Finally got some REAL time to post. haha... Had been kinda stressed these few days. Really wonder why. Hadn't progress much in my assignments, had not study much for my test.... Still, why am I feeling so stressed out and tired???

ManY and YJ's gonna leave soon. Jean, planning to leave after sem 1. Why's everyone leaving? Though we're not really close, but still it's sad to see you guys leaving one by one... T.T And there's KM struggling hard to fight the cancerous cells... Tons of mind winding assignments and the nerve stretching presentations... Is there any other happier things around?

Econs econs econs, will be due by next Monday. Not yet even started. Gosh, those killing statistical numbers, facts, dunno what you does it means words... REally driving me CRAZY!!! Spending whole week to sorts those FREAKING datas out, but still, no progress... Help!

Oh ya, my radio drama on Tues turned out quite ok. Teacher praised our sound effects. haha.. Hooray! Though speaking wise, we're not so good, but still, it's a very nice experience. (The Phantom... of the Opera is Here!!!! .... I'm Erik!
Looking forward to see the performance of others.

Am in crave for food these past few days. I mean, I won't get full even after I eat rice or whatsoever. It's like the more I'm trying to loose weight, the more I eat, what kind of theory is that???? Am trying very hard to keep away from food but I ended up giving in.. Craps.... Still I <3 FOOD!!!!! GIMME FOOD FOOD FOOD!!!!! Speaking of food, am going to get myself some maggi now.. haha.. Craps..
Dunno why nowadays like to use this word, maybe is the influence of Miss Prawn.. haha
Ee... these few days.. really really boring.
I'm not saying that life here is boring due to the lack of entertainment..
Instead, it's the other way round.
These few days had been pretty busy for me.
2 assignments and 3 presentations, 2 mid-terms..
Gosh... BORING!
The other reason why I feel it's boring is the people here.
The lamao scene of rivalries between friends, I wonder what's gone into them? =_=|||
BORING!!!!
And life just gets 'better' when the stupid printing shop does not do their best to help you finish your job... BORING!!!
That's not just yet, having people around you criticizing this and that, but not actually helping in some sense when you need them...
And lastly, the 'birth' of my pathetic SPM results this Thursday, Double boring~~

It's enough stress having everyone expecting you to give them something you owe them for quite awhile, but you can't really make it on time because you are studying and other blah.. blah.. factors. Let alone all the assignments and presentations you have to chase after... And there goes some people who adds in pins and thinstles to your live. Oh great! How 'happy' I am... haiz... here's another "BORING" for that!

Anyway, moving on..
here's somethings I can actually give a toast for this week:
1. 1 mid-term down, 1 more to go!

Think Of Me-Phantom of the Opera

My my...

Gosh, can it be tougher???
Now only I realized that the process of publishing a book isn't anything near easy.
It's really really time consuming and eye fatiguing.
And after all the hard work you put in,
you have to face the people who are reading it..
Their comments and reaction...
Gosh, it's really stressful.
In the end of the day,
whenever there's something wrong about something,
someone will point fingers towards you saying:"Yucks! we pay so much just for this?"
Stressful....

Having test on Thurs.
Gotta really stuff my head into the world of sociology...
There's nothing much I can do, can I?
Tests, assignments, assessments....
Everything really starts with a big question mark...
No idea how the heck can I start doing them..
Forget about finishing them...
Yiiksssss..... I desperately want some private time!!!!!

Oh ya, here's a something.
I experienced cycling in the rain for the 1st time in my life.
and it was.... FUN!!!!
haha... I actually forgot to bring my raincoat,
Umbrella is a big NO NO for me due to my body imbalance while cycling.
So... instead of a raincoat, I wore my pinky jacket and dashed off the streets.
hahahaha.. Exciting I must say... Got soaking wet when we reached Tesco.
With everyone staring at us... lolz...
The 2nd time going to Tesco with sis and friends....
It was really enjoyable.
Had even heard some pretty interesting real life stories which really got me wondering...
Are homosexuals for real??? I mean, guy and guy, Gal and gal... a happy ever after???
oh well, it's really up to them to decide...
Cycling at nite is pretty cool. haha.. loved the awesomeness...
Celebrated friend's birthday beside the lake..
For the 1st time again, I get to be fetched by someone on a bike.
It's nice... a lil' unsecure though..
but .. Nice! haha..

Last weekend was a blast for me.
Spent some time hanging out with friends,
Going to a K box twice a day.
Teacher's treat to all of us...
Shopping~
And most of all.... a frige full of carbonated drinks!! YIPPEE!!!!!
looking forward to go back to my hometown again this week...
